I have seen some of my neighbors forcing their kids to study and prepare for some exams which I thought was too much. Now I say their parents had a vision. Of course forcing your interests to your kids isn't good. But the intention is for good which most of the kids don't realize.
After I got a degree and when some fortune wind landed me somewhere good, I suddenly started getting surplus information and gaining a lot of knowledge which I often felt I should have got & used it much earlier in life which would have placed in a much high level in life.
So why this post? Whenever I happened to read the life story of a famous person in terms of business or my related technology field, I look into their renowned educational backgrounds, esteemed degrees and universities and feel what I missed to do in my life. So I conclude that getting a good degree from a good college/university/institution is always good and puts you far ahead in this competitive world.
